| We (all of us over 55) have made it! we have done the almost impossible, we have come through this life for 55 years and we have finally made it! We have gone through the stressfull times of bringing our wonderful children into this world and nursing them trying to teach them the difference between right and wrong. We have hopefully tought them to care, love and have compassion for others with less. We have tought them how to feed themselvs, how to dress and bathe properly (at least we think we have, who only knows what they do when we are not within eyesight). We have taught them how to face up to responsibility, like keeping their room clean, saving a little money for a rainy day. We even went as far as showing them how to survive in college and to live on their own. Now they are on their own! Thank GOD! I think we have done our part, now it is time for us to breathe, or as most people say "exhale". We can now relax. Yeah right! We can now.... play, we can now...walk around the house naked if we want to, we can even make a pie NAKED! We can now make woopie on the dinning room table (don't tell the kids, they will never come over for dinner again!). We can even...come home late if we want to after dinner and not have to explain to anyone! FREEDOME! FREEDOME! ISN'T IT WONDERFUL! |
