List of courses available: Beginner Piano Lessons Elementary School Subjects Tutoring English as a Second Language Learn to Knit, Crochet or Embroider Literacy and Numeracy Training Proofreading Service Beginner Piano Lessons The teacher has been giving private lessons for several years and has developed a very successful program that combines traditional lessons with a computer-based method. This Ontario Certified Teacher believes that learning to play the piano should be enjoyable. $12 per half hour. All lessons are private and one-on-one. No extra materials to buy. No contracts to sign. Pay-as-you-go. No charge for cancelled lessons. Certificates of completion available. Elementary School Subjects Tutoring The teacher is Ontario Certified and has taught all the elementary grades. $17 per hour. No charge for cancelled lessons. ESL (English as a Second Language) Lessons The teacher is Ontario Certified and has a Specialist Certificate in ESL. She has taught both children and adults. While living in Ottawa, she taught at Algonquin College. Learn punctuation, sentence structure, spelling rules, grammar and pronunciation. $15 per hour. No materials to buy. No charge for cancelled lessons. Learn to Knit, Crochet, or Embroider The instructor, an Ontario Certified Teacher, calls this 'Creative Relaxation'. She has been teaching crafts and selling her finished products for many years. $10 per hour. If two people share the hour, each person pays only $5! In one hour, you can learn the basics of one craft. You may find that you can then proceed on your own. Ages 10 and up. Proofreading Service Certified Teacher with a Specialist in English as a Second Language is available to check your documents for correct spelling and grammar. Professional rewrites. $5 per page. Literacy and Numeracy Training Now is the time to upgrade your English and Math skills in private one-on-one sessions.
