 Motley Crue----------Live: Entertainment or Death-------1999 Review: 21 songs covering the career to this point of Motley Crue. I have never seen them live myself. Its a 2 cd set......the 1st one being old stuff mostly fromt the first 2 albums and the 2nd cd covers the rest. I like the 1st disk as I get into the Crue with the 1st 2 albums and thought they were pretty good at the time.......and I kinda began to lose interest as the years went by. They to me seem to be trying to attract a certain type of people by doing more lovey songs.....I HATE THAT. The could still rock like with songs like Kickstart my Heart and Dr. Feelgood. Back to the 1st disk which of course I like more....it has what are to me Crue classics, Shout at the Devil, Live Wire, Piece of your Action, and yes even Merry Go Round. Overall its not bad....I expected some things like solos or jams here or there but its just the songs which is fine too. They were a good rock/metal band. Not great but good. Fav cuts: Live Wire, Piece of your Action, Shout at the Devil. Rating: 7 Disk 1---8 Disk 2----5 |
