Samuel Clark Sr. was an original settler of Southampton, LI, NY. It is assumed that he was born in England and came to America directly to New York, or first to New Haven, CT where there are many Clarks. Descendants of his family settled in Elizabethtown, NJ and Westfield, NJ.

My origninal intention was to find information on an unknown grandfather. In my many searches for the unknown Taylor of my family,  another side of my family tree was found. A part of my family that would have forever been unknown to me if I hadn't got help from the wonderful members of the Taylor Genealogy message board @yahoo.com.
