| Missing a dose could cause problems, but NEVER DOUBLE DOSE!!!!!!! This medicine is taken orally. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Severe side effects include difficulty breathing, swelling in your tongue, lips, or face, or even hives. Also it can cause seizures, chills, severe weakness or dizziness, and unconscousness. IF ANY OF THESE SIDE EFFECTS OCCUR STOP TAKING CODEINE AND SEEK EMERGENCY MEDICAL HELP!!!!!!! Less serious side effects are dehydration symtoms such as constipation, drymouth, nausea, vomiting or decreased appetite. This may cause slight dizziness or lightheadedness, muscle twitches, sweating, itching, decreased sex drive and urination. NEVER STOP TAKING CODEINE SUDDENLY IF YOU HAVE TAKEN IT 5-7 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. IT MAY CAUSE ADVERSE PHYSICAL AND PSYCOLOGICAL EFFECTS. |
