If you're going to vote thumbs down, at least tell me who you are |
It's early and I was skimming through my votes this morning when I realized that I received three thumbs down votes a little while ago. Each messge read:
"This is the same vote like you did to my friend site. If you did a review of the votes to other sites, you will find that your IP address is the one with that vote :( with no reason to do that. We are a group of friends and we will continue voting like that if you repeat it. Record: 25 Date: Fri Jan 3, 2003 12:21pm EST Host: 24.189.208.32 Comment: /computercenter"
Whoever was the one who posted this vote, you truely are actuing irrisponsible and irrational. First of all, I vote for about 40 + sites a day and most of the time I vote very early in the morning. As I write this, my clock says it's 6:31am EST. So basically, I wake up at 5:30 on weekdays, eat breakfast, get ready for school, vote, go to school, come home, do homework, work on this website, and finally go to bed. I am a VERY tired person. I do not get the recommend amount of sleep that everyone says that people need to get.
What probably happened was this: I was voting for so many sites that I was too tired to realize I accidentally clicked the thumbs down button. I sometimes complete votes so fast that I type my url wrong, so what probably happened was that I pressed thumbs down so fast that I didn't even realize it. For that I appologize, but there is no reason for whoever wrote this to vote thumbs down three times. Things DO happen.
I refuse to find out who did this. If they wish to not leave their identity in their votes, then they have a reason, one which I will respect. Have a nice day, otherwise!

NetMeeting and Headings |
Steve was nice enough to write a short little page on Microsoft's NetMeeting, a chat client. He would have done more but he recently got new hardware for his new computer. He will add more when his new computer is all squared away.
Today I finished a page I started last night - the Headings page. It is page one of many pages about HTML. The next page will be about paragraphs in HTML. That will be worked on throughout the night, so if you see an incomplete page then you know why. Have a nice night!!

Up and Running |
I've been mainly concentrated on getting votes for this site. But that's not enough. I will now work on one heck of a homepage design (this one's a little pain). Hopefully after that I'll work on some HTML pages to help you with your maxpages, or whatever host, site.

After a 1½ year absense, Computer | Center, the #1 Computer Site on Maxpages.com, is back! We are under the same management as before with a new member: Steve. One of my close personal friends, Steve will be helping to make Computer | Center the website it used to be!
