Here at Diamond Pomeranians and Chihuahuas, I am a southeast Georgia licensed breeder of the great breed of pomeranians and chihuahuas. I take pride in not only the quality of the breeds, but also, the temperments of each breed. My babies are raised with tender loving care, spoiled, pampered, and treated like royality. I have not only AKC registered, but CKC registered as well.
I, Dixie Johnson, started breeding dogs almost 20 years ago. I went though many different breeds of dogs until I found which ones that I really favored the most. Out of all the breeds of dogs, I found that it was the pomeranians and the chihuahuas that really caught my eye the most. Through trail and error, I found it was more important to invest in more of the quality of the dog and not just the quanity of the dogs. I took a long time in studying the pedigrees of many of the dogs to make sure there would not be any problems along the way. I studied the pedigrees in order to get the various colors that I have now. It was more important to me to know their background and look for what my customers were asking for in a puppy.
Many of the dogs I have now are show quality. Many of my dogs have between at least five champions to seventy five champions in their pedigrees. I do not get to show my dogs as I teach school and have not had the time, although, I do show my dogs by caring them to nursing homes and hospitals for therapy for the sick and elderly. To those people there, my dogs are felt very special to the people that see them. To those people, they are my judges and seeing a smile on their face, them holding them, loving them and playing with them is what gives me the greatest joy in having all my dogs. The greatest joy I have in having my pomeranians and chihuahuas is not only in me enjoying seeing them whenever I come home, but whenever a customer comes to pick one out. To know that I have made someone happy and brightened up someone's life with a new puppy or older dog perhaps, brings me greater joy in saying it was all worth it in having my sweet fuzzy babies.
