| Hi welcome to my website! If you already havent, remember, sign the guestbook please! First let me tell you a little bit about myself, I am in the 8th grade and love animals and my computer! Ok, enough about myself! Let me tell you about why did this site on dogs. I guess I did this site on dogs is because i love them! I love all dogs of corse, but my favorites are.... The one and only Lab! Next is the germanshepard! And last but not least, the little wennie dog I have 2 dogs right now. One Labrador. Her name is Shiba! She is black all over and is a Lab! right now she is about 14 years old. (In human years.) She is so sweet! My other lovable doggy is Franky! She is a small brown Minature Wennie Dog. She was so little that when she was a puppy, she could fit on the palm of ur hand! But not anymore, she is now about 6 years old and is pretty long right now! Update: On December the 6th, Shiba died:( When we came home from school and work, we found her laying in her house, only not moving. At first we thought she had died right then and there but we were wrong she was still giving off body heat and was very heavly breathing do she was still alilve! We called as many animal clinics was could find but they were all already closed or just about to close, so we ended up takeing her to the Animal Emergency Center that was like so far away from my house. So, i picked her up (she wasent lite) and put her in our van and we drove off in search of the hidden building. While i was holding her head in my hands, I noticed that she had been spiting up blood and one of her eyes were compleatly white. (yes, the color) When we got to the Animal Emergency Clinic, everyone that worked there thought she had been hit by a car because of all the blood that was on my hands, on her, and on her blanket that we had along with her. But we told them everything that had happened. While the vet was checking Shiba out, he opened her mouth(thats when I saw it) but she closed it befor anyone else could see it too. I knew right away when i saw it what it was. The huge thing in her mouth was a toumer. (I was right) Thats where all the blood was from. When she was laying down, her teeth were stabing into the big toumer and it would start to bleed. Then he felt around her stomach and said he felt light tissue mass. He said that ment that she had a lot more toumers in her body. He said they could take them out but that she might not live through the sergery and if she did, at her age she would only live 1 month - 1 year. And that all this would start again, she would get toumers again and wont be able to move. Then he said the other thing we could do is to put her to sleep. He left and my mom, sister, and I discused about it (but I already knew what was going to happen, we were gonna havta put her to sleep.) And sure enough my mom said we were gonna havta put her to sleep. This pet was born only 2 weeks before me! I had grown up with her. I even had a name for her "my fluffy puff."(cuz she had fluffy fur) N*e*ways we put her to sleep and I watched her take in and let out her last few breaths. But the thing is I didnt cry untill I got home and started doing my normal things. I guess i didnt cry while there cuz about 2 weeks before that i had watched my aunts dog (Max) died. I was close to him too. He was 13 years old and had to be put to sleep cuz of the same things Shiba had. I grew up with him too. Because when I was little and I wasent at home I was with my grandma and when my aunt lived there her doggy lived there too. So I guess What I'm trying to say is that if you have a dog that is at an old age like Shiba or Max, have him or her go get a check up so that this doesnt happen to you.
