Welcome to The Enabled RVer!
Worldwide there has been a growing Disabled Freedom Movement and the individuals with special needs are seeking new travel choices. Access-travel has become popular and familiar to many traveling by air and sea. Now, with the help of many, the RVing community is able to enter a whole new frontier with the special-needs traveler in mind.
In preparing this web site, a few interesting things happened. When I mentioned the term "access travel", some people didn't know what it meant so I had to explain it. When I used the term "RVing", some were not aware of the some 30 million RV enthusiasts.
So, here's what I've done. I am developing a series of articles which will be important to you. You'll find features on great destinations, weekend getaways, accessible RVs, part-timing and full-timing, and schooling or working on the road. Can all of these features be possible in an access-travel site? Sure they can! I hope that you find this free information helpful.
Just follow the links on the left side of this page to start your your Internet travel adventures.

If you are a campground owner and feel that your facility might meet the requirements, please contact the Handicapped Travel Club at http://dbyeaw.com/htc/. If you are an RVer and find a park that you would like to see added to the list, also contact the Handicapped Travel Club.
