We the families have had enough and want to expose the truth. We hope to provide a better understanding to what is really happening. We will look at issues and give adivise on the issue, regardless of what CAS thinks. This site is an expression of opinion and under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and Canadian Bill of Rights I have thay right. intervention not apprehention Family services was formed to assist families to overcome the battles in their lives and become better parents. To apprehend a child is very damaging to the family structure. We have lost our ways. It used to be when a CAS worker came into your life they helped the family now its just not the same. They apprehend first and then try to justify it. WE must go back to basics. Wake up who is your lawyer working for I have a question. Who is your lawyer working for? It seems that very few lawyer will really represent a parent. Some lawyer will only guide you through the court system, but I ask is that represting you. I asked a lawyer in Brantford recently if he was taking pribes from cas to mislead his clients. He answered by putting his head down and answering "no". Did he answer me? Form 14s violate privacy. Form 14s were designed so agencies could talk between themselfs about a person with the consent of that person. However form 14s are clearly forced on people to sign. The CAS states that they only want to see why you were in treatment. But this is clearly not what they are doing. They are biulding a case against you, so DON'T SIGN form 14s. The law states that unless a crime has been committed your privacy should remain. The United Nations states that when a person is forced into giving up the protected privacy that it is to be considered violence against that person. police It seems that CAS always seems to use the same police officers. Is there a conflict here, our police boards and government must not overlook this. A helpful hint is to once again write everything down. This includes the names, badge and time and date of police involment with CAS. Always Write things down It is very important that you get it in writing. This will not allow the CAS to alter or change things. This is a way to protect yourself
