| Entangled in These Moments by Gabriel Poole Smiles, and dances and an occasional look, A subtle touch, then a word from you; In these moments I become entangled And I know just what to do. Visions of you pass my mind at night, With thoughts of you, I awake; But realizations of who we are, sometimes, Are more than I can take. All of me is all of you, I dream, But are you dreamt or real? I cannot know what tomorrow may show - All I know is this moment and how I feel. It has nothing to do with anything but you, Since you first spoke and I first heard I knew you were a whirlwind to be tamed; Something I can do with every loving word. But desire must be for what I can give, Something that deep inside only you know. Your soul tells you who to love and trust, Only then can these oceans grow. As I see you in the moon and the stars, Your soul speaks to only me; Always in the wind is your voice, Calling me back, to swim in your sea. P.S. Oh I see, you are afraid of Commitment!!! __________________________________________________________________________________________ A Day Alone With Thoughts of You remember, it's always you I'm thinking about... always, you I want to hold... always, you I need to touch... always, the memories I cherish most .... are those of you time goes by quickly in your arms, only to crawl when we are apart. long days drag, and the fantasies I make rarely burn with lust and desire, only fueled by loss and distance. longing touches I can't wait to feel, soft caresses I long to give, ...only keep me in suspense as time wears on afternoon sunshine feels warm on my face, but even butterflies that spread their wings cannot take my mind off of you. the sunset blazes against a darkening sky and I remember promises made, and our many promises kept. nights falls upon the world and my heart breaks even more... memories flood over me as the moon rises overhead, casting its clean white light over me, only to accentuate the loneliness in my soul. the stars arise, and flicker above me. I gaze up at them, thinking of what sky you may be seeing. I lay alone in my familiar, warm bed, talks from our past echoing through my mind, I smile and close my eyes, your soft voice calming me. missing you is delayed, till I remember you are not here to hold me. as I lay in the nights' darkness, memories of you still linger about in my sleepy mind. I wish on every star each night.... already knowing that only the passage of time would grant us each other, once again. __________________________________________________________________________________________ One Night One night not so long ago, I sat up all night and talked to you on the phone. Your voice so soft, and so comforting. I got up the nerve to tell you my past. Having you sit there and listen to me, Made me feel so much better. As I listen to you talk about life, And question the things you don’t quite get, I realize how much I like to listen to you. I close my eyes and it’s like you're there, Holding my hand and whispering in my ear. You’re my best friend but you're so much more, You’ll never know how much you mean to me. But how can I like a friend? I’ll find a way to mess things up. And the one thing I don’t want to do, Is to mess up and lose you. I know that I’m stubborn, and sometimes very hard to reason with. All I ask you is forgive me when I act like that. You know I like you and I’ll soon calm down. All I know is you with all my heart And hope you feel the same. But if for some reason you drift from me I want you to know I will always like you. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Precious Moments Why is it we realize just how precious... only after they have passed? These wonderful treasures we can never again revisit. Except for the fleeting moment, they no longer exist. Oh, these precious moments, how I want to capture them And forever hold them in my heart, my mind, my soul! Keeping them as fresh and alive as when they first occurred. Allowing me to feel your arms, taste your kisses, hear your love. From that first precious moment till eternity...and beyond. Your love, the most precious of all things ever... It is unconditional It is all encompassing It is my most valued treasure... Totally irreplaceable... Unending... Forgiving... Sweet... Pure ecstasy! From that first precious moment When my eyes saw you bathed in a golden light You forever captured my heart and soul... Entwined it with yours For all eternity. Your gift of love to me is unequaled but I can't offer you my love. It is all I have, but with each precious moment that passes, It grows so much, under your sweet care And I know that you treasure it also. We are making love in so many precious moments, And we will continue to do so, not in a state of sexuality but for all eternity For our love is more than a precious moment, It is just precious Always and forever! __________________________________________________________________________________________ My Mistake I've made mistakes within my life, but the biggest one is you. I should have realized from the start that your childish love wasn't true. I've made some errors in my past, and you're number one, You took my heart away from me, and were my only one. I gave my all and everything just to be with you. You left me for my bestest friend, proving your love untrue. I often sit and fantasize how my life would be. Had I never gone online that night. Today I'd be happy. But, I fell for you that fateful night of October 17th And now my heartache is my price, a price that's haunting me. If I could change just one past fault, it's you I'd never meet, For it was your gentle touch and soft sweet lips, that was my hearts defeat. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Get Out! If there's anything I would like to do, It's make your whole life stop…. Don't you hear my feelings? Can't you feel they're true… Why can't you just realize, That I do not love you? My biggest mistake, I messed up with thee… I shouldn't have even bothered… You cost too much for me….. So much for my lifetime… I wasted a year with you…. Now that I have said this… What ever will you do? He holds you near beside him… You think it's love so true… But you need to finally realize… He just wanted something from you. I think that once I loved you…. No wait!!!! it was just a thought… I think for one whole year…. My sanity was distraught…. So goodbye my ex darling… It was so-so while it passed…. But now you're just a memory of my once so messed up past. *Note: There is a very big difference in between being a woman and a girl!!!" __________________________________________________________________________________________ Warm Seduction We behold one another in the face before it was dawn And shuffled and squeezed at the lightening of the thunder With fresh cool air we slept in one another’s arms all the night ‘Til the dawn of the morning came to take the time We spread across the bed like spreading tree branches And expressed our love with the freedom our mind has to give We commemorated love’s victory without shame in our eyes And rejoiced for the battle fought in the solitude of our souls We built a sweet relationship devoid of monkey love We reclaimed our lost passion without deception in our minds As the concealed passion was revealed in candlelight afternoon Penultimate glee of love quickly resurfaced in our faded memory We danced all night long to the rhythm and melody of our heart To raindrops’ drum, beating the roof to love songs from our minds Then a raging fire created a continuous internal burning sensation And thunderous sounds of the raging wind produced a warm seduction __________________________________________________________________________________________ As I glance at your photograph I glance at your photograph, My body trembling… I want so much to hold you… To feel you next to me… Infatuation this couldn't be… Because you mean the world to me… I'd climb the highest mountain… Swim the largest sea… Just for a single moment, To declare my love, to thee… But alas, that chance is seldom… And impossible it seems… But if you could only feel my love… You'd fall in love with me… I see you in my deepest thoughts, Each night as I lay and dream… You're like an angel from above, And you drive me, so crazy. Insane is where you leave me… I'm so crazy for you… Don't think me as obsessive… I just wanna be in love with you… For now my love lays silent… I hope it comes to light… Then we could be together, Every day and every night… Only then, would my world be right… And these feelings of love I wouldn't have to fight… Baby, I love you… But for now… I'll stay out of sight. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Cruel Intentions Your intentions were evil, Cruel and unseen… Oblivious to the heartache, Inevitable was it for me… You made me a promise, I hoped you would keep… You kept it for awhile, Then broke it and left me… I gave you all I ever was, I gave you everything… And in the instant of one night, You took your love from me… Heartless and so evil, You shattered everything… My hopes, my dreams, and my poor heart, That continues to feel for thee… The love felt real, And oh, so right… Your beauty filled my mind… Thoughts of love and a future bright, illuminated night. Cruel Intentions did you have, You played them upon me… And should you come back to this place, Loneliness is all you'll see… I'll never fall for you again, I am not that naive. So, when you ask me for my love, My love I'll deny thee… __________________________________________________________________________________________ Nothing Lasts Forever. Loving you was easy… It never took too much… Falling wasn't a problem, After our first touch… Kissing was so perfect, Your lips were soft and sweet… Holding you in my arms, Was my body's sensuous treat. Holding hands together, As we walked throughout the park… Scurrying in a hurry, Before it became dark… Listening to your voice, As you sweetly sang me to sleep… Was heaven and more for me… You were my heart's defeat. Letting go was terrible, Impossible it's true… But you had to leave, it was your time, And now our love is through. Longing for your kisses, Yearning for your touch… Wanting badly to hear your voice… And melodies and such… But nothing lasts forever… And all good things must end… I just hope that one day soon, We can once again be friends… __________________________________________________________________________________________ Alone Has he ever left you so alone inside That night after night alone you cried? Alone you sat in a puddle of tears. Wondering will the pain ever disappear! Your mind begins to play that game. And you're the only one standing in the pouring rain. The day will come when you find another, then back out comes the sun. You go through the happiness once again. But start to wonder will your heart ever win? He walks away leaving a broken heart. Then, here you are back at the start... Feeling again the pain of being alone. __________________________________________________________________________________________ To Love Again To love again How that would feel? The tense song sung only for thee To hold such... unheld hopes Of a warm touch found wanting of warmth From a cold, harsh world of yesterday To the sunny path that leads to your heart To love again To hold true that which was lost To place thee above... even sight To wish a oneness never felt To wake in the morning with eyes met And to know tomorrow will find those eyes Knowing that those eyes seek only yours And will find a loving smile... as a frame To love again To know the need to be And to be half... only whole with you Yet, I love the feeling of incompleteness For my half knows his better And my mistakes find their perfection In the eyes of thee Whom I wish...
