| Welcome to our humble site from above. In this site you will see and understand about the hippie movement and about the hippies culture. The hippies werent just rebellions against society. They acually believed in the stuff that they were fighting for, Peace, Love, and Freedom. Of course, no hippie is a role model for anyone, with all the drugs, and sex, and partying all night until they see things more clearly. But the reason they said that they were doing these drugs, is so that they could bring back the beauty in life. Hippies believed that society had so much negativity and anger that they felt that they had to do something to resolve it. Many people joined this gang of rebels for a couple reasons, to fight for freedom or religion, and to fight for the return of the American Soldiers from Vietnam. Hippies went on marches to ban the coming of the Bomb, especially when J.F.K put a blockade around Cuba, The Hippies all thought that they were going to fry together. The Hippies moved all over the world in search of there rights of freedom and religion and would do anything to get that.
