Hello, Everyone and welcome to my webpage about my 1979 Nova. I will work on getting some pictures of the car on the website, but anyway, my car is a 4 door, it's maroon in color and has a 250 straight six with a turbo-350 transmission. I got the car by getting my sister to trade a sweetheart ring from her ex-boyfriend to the guy in exchange for the car. We got the car, drove it home and it has sat there since, because I still haven't gotten my license yet and I have not fixed the car enough to drive it yet either. It has a slight exhaust leak so it emits a "ticking" noise when you press the gas pedal, the windshield is cracked, it has no catalytic converter, and has a brown door from an older Buick Skylark on the driver's side. When I talked to the guy, he said he had recently put in new rocker arms and connecting rods. I need to rebuild the carburetor which by the way is only a 1 barrel. Although it is a "small" engine for it's time, it still flies... I am going to take it to a strip as soon as I put on some new tires and fix some misc. things with it. I am putting P235/55/R16s in the back which are very bare, kinda like the "legal" slicks. Anyways, hope you had fun reading about my car, and return sometime soon for some pics of it...
