Our Problem/Solution Statement:
Water pollution from the recent hurricanes that swept through Florida during the 2004 hurricane season has become a major problem in the area. After the hurricanes, the area was left with much destruction. Electricity was out for weeks, trees were on top of houses, and, in many areas, the water was contaminated leaving many the task of having to boil their water before using it for cooking, cleaning, or drinking. Working together, our group's goal was to create a way to help reduce, and perhaps someday eliminate, the threat of water pollution created by these hurricanes. |
