| Hi my name is Johnathon Byrne and I'm a 16-year-old boy with a condition, called Merisin Deficient Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. To research this condition look for the details at the top of the page.
I'm going to tell you about how hard it is being a disabled boy. Being a disabled boy is hard thing, people always staring at you, people calling you names and the worst thing of all people laughing at you because I'm in a wheelchair. I hate it when I'm going down the street and older teenagers are staring at me and calling me names. My parents or other non disabled friends or family say just ignore it theyre not worth it, but its not as easy as that. Some times when people are taking the Mickey out of me. I feel like I just want to get out of my wheelchair and brake their legs and see how they like not being able to walk all their lives, not being able to play football, not being able to climb trees and not being able to do the other things I want to do. I just want all the people who have been horrible to the disabled people to just know how they feel when people are nasty to them. I just what to be a normal non - disabled person that would just be the best thing ever it really would. |
