First update, first bits of news. Basically, here's where we stand with Jurassic Park 4:
1. Special effects wizard Denis Muren (famed for the JP CGI), has stated that he is "dino'd out" when it comes to making JP movies. (comingsoon.net)
2. You can read a script of JP4 on Aint It Cool News. Writer John Sayles (who wrote the most recent JP4 script draft) says this script is in fact real, and was intercepted in Steven Spielberg's mail (

3. Sam Neill stated at the Australian Logies that Jurassic Park 4 was "not a possibility." NOTE: Sam was very drunk at the time, so take this for what it is.
4. Stan Winston has said that Jurassic Park 4 is currently "on hold", but is still expected to continue pre-production soon. (Dark Horizons)
5. William Monahan is believed to have written a first draft script of JP4 which has pleased Spielberg, although plenty of work is still needed to be done. (

6. Jeff Goldblum is said to have "no idea" whether he is working on JP4, although it is well known he would be very enthusiastic about returning for a fourth film. (

7. Although previously rumoured, it is highly circulated now that Keira Knightly (of Pirates of the Carribean) and David Boreanez (of Angel) will not be in the fourth film. (comingsoon.net)

1. Alex Proyas (director of I, Robot) will direct JP4. (comingsoon.net)
2. Goldbum and Richard Attenborough will in fact return, despite what I previously stated, according this time to comingsoon.net
3. Emmy Rossum (The Day After Tomorrow) and Jeremy Piven (Runaway Jury) will star. (Cinemania Magazine)
4. Dark Horizons said to expect plenty of marine-based dinosaurs.
