In more ancient times when the Israelites came out of Egyt, during their wanderings in the wilderness, God supplied them with heavenly bread from heaven that appeared with the morning dew.
And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, it is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat. This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them. (EXO.16:15-20)
The grace of God as manna from the heavens, affecting every life that eat thereof. And what man can say, hey, the grace of good is sufficient for me, but not for you. Now look at me in my glory which I so call the glory of God, yet I hold every mans sin against him and will not let him up for breath. What hope is there in such mentality? How stale does the grace of God get when we withold it to ourselves and consider not that grace which is sufficient for every man that would eat thereof. And where have you come from you who say, look at me, I am perfect in christ, yet judge every man according to his way. I say you are far from perfect as the east from the west. And the grace of God is not sufficient for you because you hold mans struggle against himself and without any offering or means of help, but rather judgement and persecution as the pharisees did unto Jesus, and you call yourselves leaders of the religion, but it is the religion of yourself, which I will not partake of, and even I find offense that such would claim to be of the same God as I. But nevertheless, we must find mercy for one another and believe the inevitable growth where which every man must undoubtedly choose to be either of theirself and their own accord, or that accord which is true and forever unbroken. It is the grace that surpasses all understanding, and surpasses all persecution, and we must learn to walk in this grace, for it is as sufficient for ourselves as much as we allow it to be for others as we walk out our every day lives. |
