ANCIENT CHURCH OF THE CHRISTOS AND OF THE ROSE CROSS Welcome to All Who seek the Light! INRI "In Nobis Regnat Iesus" meaning "Within Ourselves Reigns Jesus" We are a Church in The REAL SENSE Of the Word. For the sake of Organization and Other Considerations, We Use an Episcopal Structure for Our Church, And, Hopefully, YOUR CHURCH, Whether Primary, Secondary, or Otherwise. Although we believe That Rosicrucianism is the Oldest Form of Christianity, We do not believe that we are The "One And Only True Church of Jesus Christ," Nor do we believe that we are the Only Real Rosicrucians. Those Types of Ideas, We Think, are Completely Absurd, And Not Appropriate for These Enlightened Times. Although We SOMETIMES FAIL, Because We are Humans, JUST LIKE YOU, We Endeavor TO TELL THE TRUTH, and, IF WE ARE WRONG, WE STRIVE TO CORRECT OUR ERRORS. We do not pretend to Posess "All THE SACRED MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE" All to Ourselves, As to Vainly place Us Above Our Fellow Human Beings And Other Religions and Religious Denominations, Because: WE ARE ALL ON THE QUEST! WE ALL LABOR ON THE GREAT WORK! Our Studies for Holy Orders Are meant to Mentor a Student To Become a Clergyperson in Our Church; Mentoring costs nothing except For Materials and Postage. Also, We Ordain "At A Distance" when Necessary, As Any REAL ROSICRUCIAN Who is Educated and Intelligent, And Who is Familiar With White Magick (Theurgy), or, in Modern Terms, QUANTUM PHYSICS, (Such as Superstring Theory and Non-Locality) Will Understand. We have Patriarchs, Metropolitans, Archbishops, etc., BUT WE HAVE NO DICTATORS or FALSE PROPHETS! We, of course, teach of Our Father C.R.C., And, As Most Rosicrucians, We do have an inner Initiatic Order Which We Call The ORDO SANCTI ROSAE CRUCIS ET TEMPLI, Consisting of Five Degrees: Member: Knight Errant of the Holy Grail Deacon: Knight of Malta Priest: Knight Templar Archpriest: Adeptus Minor Mitred Archpriest: Adeptus Major But, We Assure You That The Salvation Of Your Immortal Soul Does Not Depend Upon Your Becoming a Member Of The Order (Or Even of Our Church); Nor do we Reveal Any "Masonic Secrets." NOW, WITH ALL THAT SAID AND DONE, With Due Hyperbole: ***** Our Sacred Mission is to Find the Christ Within Ourselves, And then to Find the Christ in Others; For to Love our "Neighbors as Ourselves," It is logical that we must Love Our Inner Christ First Before We can Love The Inner Christ in Others. But, as we travel toward that Gnosis, we Attempt to Help Fellow Pilgrims on The Way. So, We Seek the Christ Within; We Feed the Hungry; We Cure the Sick. ***** It is difficult sometimes to Love Our Enemies, But Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Instructed us to do that very Thing. Again, We Are Absolutely Not A "Cult." If Any of our Clergy Should Become a "Cult Leader," He or She WOULD BE EXPELLED IMMEDIATELY. We are Evangelical, but we do not Coerce People to Join. We Welcome Debate, but Abhor Angry Argument. Membership, if approved, Costs Nothing. We are well aware that there are obviously Some "Unusual People" and even some "Deranged Minds" On the Internet: Please do not be fooled by them and send Them YOUR MONEY! You Have Worked Hard For What You Have, And You Do Not Deserve TO BE TAKEN BY SCAM ARTISTS AND SELF-SERVING PSEUDO-CLERICS! In Fact, Since We Do Not Want To Be Associated Nor Confusted With The Fakes Out There, DO NOT SEND MONEY TO US, WE BEG YOU!} WHY ARE WE "ANCIENT?" First of all, We Hold That The Rosicrucians Are the Oldest Christian Church, Perhaps even pre-dating the Birth of Jesus Christ Himself (St. Augustine of Hippo indicated That) By as much as Nine Thousand Years, An Example Being The Three Wise Men, Who Obviously Knew the Prophesy of the Coming of The Messiah From Very Distant Times. Another Example is found in the Irish Red Branch Cycle, Where the Druids Granted a Vision of the Passion To the Dying King Conchobar MacNessa of Ulster, BEFORE The Birth of Our Savior. Secondly, We Claim the Following SPIRITUAL LINES OF APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION, FROM: St. Pelagius St. Brendan the Navigator St. Origen St. Pierre Abelard St. Jacques DeMolay (Jacobus Burgundus Molay) St. Mary Magdelene St. John the Baptist St. John the Evangelist St. Judas Thomas (the Twin) St. Palladius and also from The Holy Beatific Templar Martyrs. Individual Bishops of Our Church May Hold Other Lines of Apostolic Succession, But the Disclosure of and the Transmission of Those Lines Are Left to the Sole Discretion of The Bishop or Bishops Who Hold Them. You may or may not be interested, but to give You An idea of where we Stand, Following are the General Laws of the Church (All Masculine Terms can be translated as Feminine): I. Communion (Eucharist) is always open to anyone without exception; We do not practice excommunication, even unto the "devil" himself. II. Anyone may become a Member of the ACCRC or a Cleric of the ACCRC and still be a Member or Cleric of any other Church which is approved by the Council of Patriarchs if he/she meets the following requirements: A. The Person must petition a Patriarch or one of His Delegates. B. The Person must not practice Black Magick, Satanism, Chaos Worship, nor any other form of Evil Religion. C. The Person is Formally Accepted as a Member or a Cleric by a Patriarch or one of His Delegates. D. The Person must state that he/she will never cause Schism in the Church, nor incite Schism and/or Insubordination concerning the Clergy. E. Of Course, the Person must also Recognize Jesus Christ as some Form of Incarnation of the Christos, the Logos, or The Blessed Holy One. III. A. Any Clergyperson must be Baptized and Confirmed before receiving Holy Orders. B. The Clergyperson must respect the Authority of the Patriarchs and other Ministers above him. C. The Clergyperson must pay Due Respect to his Fellow Clerics of Whatever Rank, as well as the Members. IV. We are not "Gay-Bashers," nor "Homophobes," And We Deplore and Condemn "Hate Crimes," But A Clergyperson Cannot OPENLY PRACTICE Homosexuality, Bisexuality, Bigamy, Polygamy, nor Polyandry. Transexuals and Intersexuals (Including Androgynies) Will Be Considered on an Individual Basis. V. No Clergyperson may Officiate, Assist In, Nor Bless A Homosexual Marriage, Unless Unanimously Approved By the Council of Patriarchs; (Homosexual Marriages are Illegal In Most Places, Especially in The Americas.) VI. If a Clergyperson or a Member manifests Unfavorable Behavior, In the Opinion of the Council of Patriarchs, such as Unacceptable Immorality, insubordination, espionage, saboutage, Or BASE USE of the Church for Gaining Self-Serving Power In The ACCRC or any Other Jurisdiction, etc.; Especially the Use of the Church for the Purpose of Recruiting the Members or Clergy for Another Church, Usually called, in Business, "Bait and Switch" (Which might could, Under Some Laws of the Land, Possibly be Construed as Racketeering Or Criminal Conspiracy), The Council of Patriarchs Shall send that Clergyperson One Letter of Warning, And if that Clergyperson Persists in His Behavior, The Council of Patriarchs May Reduce or Remove that person from Clerical Rank and/or Membership By a two-thirds majority Vote. Some pocedures (including criminal and civil) May also be Initiated if Need Be. ***ACCORDING TO ECCLESIASTICAL PRECEDENCE***, 1. A Clergyperson CANNOT be "DEPOSED" (Which is not a common term used by Churches), Nor "DEFROCKED" by another CLERGYPERSON nor by a MEMBER - ONLY THE COUNCIL OF PATRIARCHS HAS THOSE POWERS, AND ONLY FOR THE REASONS LISTED ABOVE. 2. Once Lines of Apostolic Succession are Conferred, They Cannot Be Revoked, Even if the Mitred Archpriest or Bishop Has been expelled from the Church: That IS the TRADITIONAL LAW, No matter what some Self-Proclaimed "Pontiffs" might Declare. ******************************** VII. The Council of Patriarchs may, by unanimous vote, Expell a Member Or a Clergyperson without Any EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER. VIII. A Patriarch may be expelled, retired, or reduced in Ecclesiastical Rank By a two-thirds majority of the Council of Patriarchs ("retired" also means voluntary retirement of a Clergyperson).
