The sun was a diminishing ember
Awaiting one last cataclysmic spark.
And in its shadow I can remember
Wishing it would someday engulf the dark!
But now, I diminishingly wander
Among the grim, faint embers of the dark,
To find the dream I did not squander
That would ignite that cataclysmic spark!

The sea wove its magical spell
In a tangled, hypnotic web,
And swallowed me in one huge, swirling swell,
Down to quiet depths of nocturnal ebb.
Now, here, beneath the surface flow
A ghost emerges from its cave...
"You, my love! who I sent here years ago!"
And still loyal--shows me to my ocean grave.
