It can ,also be called "the red planet." Mars has two moons:Deimos and Phobos.Mars orbit is 227,940,000 ks (1.52 AU) from the sun. The diameter is 6.794 Km. A mars day is 24.6 earth hours. One Mars year is 669 Mars days that equals 687 earth days.
