The Zappers Visit Mermaidland It was a beautiful warm summer day and the Zappers wanted to go to the beach. "Please, Please," they begged their mother. She finally did take them and the Zappers were very excited as they got their sand pails and their bathing suits ready.  It was a beautiful day at the beach and there were pearly white sea gulls flying in a circular motion overhead. The breeze sotly swept against the children's cheeks as they listened to the waves crashing against the sandy shore. Mother had brought a big umbrella to keep the sun out of their eyes and she had packed a big lunch..  "Let's go for a swim," cried Baby Zapp. They loved spalashing in the water and were in there a long time. "Cut that out!" Baby Zapp yelled at her little sister. "I didn't do anything" cried Squirt Zapp. She thought that her sister was playing a trick on her. But then both girls felt it again. Maybe it is a big jumping fish, Baby Zapp  thought. Maybe it is a scuba diver, Squirt Zapp thouht. But it was nothing like that. In fact when the Zappers saw what it really was, they could not believe their eyes. It was a mermaid! "Let me take you to Mermaidland" she said and then she was off. Down, down, down they went.They even passed up someone  They entered a Land of Enchantment beneath the ocean. Everything had a special golden glow. There were many beautiful buildings and all the houses looked like sand castles. There were mermaids and mermen. There were also little children who liked to play just like the Zappers. They would play hide and seek and they would hide and be chased throughout the sea coral.  The inner sun of the ocean finally went down and the Zappers finally had to say goodbye to their new found friends. It was one of the best days of their lives and they never forgot the wonderful mermaid and mermen people in the enchanted land of Mermaidland. Vote for Top 100 by clicking here!
