| NativE is a band from East-Flanders, Belgium..Their music can be described as a melting-pot of different styles, they go from singer-songwriter over psychedelic rock to pure electronic rock songs. The band was formed october 1999 by Stef(vocals,guitars), Joeri(guitars,kbds,vibes,piano,samples),Raf(flangered,distorted,clean bass),Kris(drums,percussion).After a month the band got their first gig and from then on they played at many different occasions in their neighboorhood. They recorded their first (4-song) demo-cd november 2000 at Hype studio(Aalst)with Pieter-Jan Troukens.At present the band is working along with Jan De Rycke, a young recording/mixing producer to make a 6-track E.P. . This is meant to be Jan his final exam to graduate at school.In april there will be a huge press show at ALC Lokeren (Belgium). Right now the band is busy to work on arrangements and to finish the songs that will be featured on the recording. More news follows soon.................... NativE |
