| Where You Aren't Treated Like the Oldest but Not the Youngest! |

 THIS PAGE IS UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION!   At Pennfield 8th grade is in the middle! Our school is made up of 7th 8th and 9th grade and we are entering the 8th grade this year! See when we were "soon to be" 7th graders we had some assumptions of middle school! We figured we would be treated like trash and with all the work our sixth grade teachers made it seem like we would have would be impossible to keep up with! Well, NOT AT ALL like we had assumed! See the 7th grade was a great experience for me(Emily) it was a great way to the play the sports i loved and also a great way to meet new kids! But the 8th grade is gonna be different, we are in the middle so we won't be treated like the youngest(as we were in 7th) not the oldest either... but like young adults! Well 8th grade has started now and Pennfield is still pretty ok, ya know, for a school. This year, I, Noelle, am going to be able to get involved in some things because I had a change in my schedule for dance and now I have some time after school. I already made student council this year! It's really kewl so far cuz we have our own homeroom and its been a lot of fun for the past week that we have had it. Last Friday, September 17, was the 8th and 9th grade Welcome Back Dance and it was a BLAST! Well except for my near heart attack in the middle.....you probably know what I am refering to if you were there. The teachers are ok, Emily and I both have some that we are not so fond of. I am not going to mention names thought, because you never know who will read this. But overall, we think this year is going to be running smoothly! Wow!! WE MADE IT!! Eighth grade is over and everyone has survived. Its the middle of the summer now and we are gonna be FRESHMAN next year!! Ahhh...the oldest kids at PF and it seems like it was yesturday that we were 7th graders. This year was the BEST and I can't wait for next year cuz I know it is gonna be even better!!! |
