Hello All and welcome to the wonderful world of poetry. This site has been established for all of you out there that need a little bit of time to unwind. All of the poems you see here are written by everyday people with every day problems. I write a lot of it myself. Poem of the Week:

pictures

were you alone?
was no one there?
no one to listen,
no one to care?

the night fell
heavily on you.
did you weep?
you wanted to.

you were hurt.
did you bleed?
no one to help,
who did you need?

were you scared?
it wasn't right.
no one there
alone at night.

were you crying?
did you tear?
no one to save
no one to hear.

tell me now
what you did.
the pain came
and you hid?

from the dark
did you run,
avoiding trust
from everyone ?

anger lived
inside you see,
from the life
you stole from me.

hatred boiled
through my mind.
i didn't know
what to find.

flashes came
and i denied.
pictures flashed
and i cried.

years have gone.
horrors came.
still i denied.
it's all the same.
