Not Really A Poem

| Hello, my name is Annarose. I guess you could say I am a poet. I have never had any of my poetry exposed in any way. I have just recently started to write. I had never thought about it befor but went I was writing in my journal once I found that it was very enjoyable. Very easy, soothing, and simple. I let alot of my emotions run. I do not have many poems...some I wish to keep to myself, they are private. I do not think I am very good, at all. I have a friend, Kate...she is the only person to read most of my poems. She thinks they are good and deep. I had emailed her one once and her mom read it. She told me her mother could not believe an 8th grader wrote it. Thats probably another reason why I am not very good. . .I have not lived enough to write. I sometimes get lost at what to write and babble, making horrible pieces of chicken scratch. Still, alot of the time it calms my nerves,helps me get things out of myself I do not wish to talk about. Well, I guess thats it.
