What Is the Explorer Post? |
|
The Explorer Post is a group of guys AND GIRLS... who meet every week and learn the basics of Fire Fighting. If you are between the ages of 14-19 you can show up every Tuesday at 7:00p.m. In order to start riding on the trucks you have to pass your ride- out test, which is a test over the basics and Essentials of Firefighting. ONCE you pass the test, you will most likely be assigned a Fire Station to ride on the trucks. An Explorer has many limitations , such as wear an SCBA, Go inside the Burning building, or do ANYTHING that might be harmful to you or to others. |
