Reiki Stories from my clients:

A mother of 1 year old twins called me because her children had ingested lead paint from a house they thought was deleaded. The Mom was upset because both had lead levels above normal but one of the twins had a lead level of 27 and the doctors wanted to put him on medication to bring the level down. Mom did not want her 1 year old son to go on this med because of the side effects and had heard of the benefits of Reiki and called me. She wanted to see if Reiki could help bring down the lead level in his blood to avoid medication. I worked on the little boy for 2 hours and sent a distance Reiki treatment also that night. Two days later the little boy had his lead level drawn and it had fallen 7 points and he did not have to go on medication. It continues to drop each week.The doctors were amazed. Mom is so happy that she was able to avoid medicating her son with Reiki treatments. One month after his first reiki treatment the little boy was in a normal lead level range. Healed with reiki energy not medication.

Kelly is a 5 year old little girl with chronic ear infections. Her Mom contacted me through my ChildrensReiki website and was interesed in giving Reiki a try for her daughters ear infections which had affected the little girl's speech somewhat since she probably could not hear her words as distinctly as she would if she did not have the ear infections. Kelly came with her Mom for a treatment and I concentrated on her ears and throat chakra during this session. I told her that we were going to heal the angel inside her which would in turn help to heal her ears. She loved the treatment and one week later her mother said that she had taken Kelly to have her ears checked by the doctor who reported that Kelly's ears were 90% better!! Another Miracle of Reiki.

Billy is a 16 year old skateboarder and my son. He has a passion for skateboarding and he has unfortunately been laid up twice this year with fractures to both feet.His first fracture was to the right foot and it was broken in 3 places. The doctor said he would be in a cast for 6 weeks. I gave him lots of Reiki during this period and he was out of his cast in 4 weeks. The second time he broke his foot this year it was the left foot. The foot was so swollen they could not cast it for 5 days. I gave him lots of Reiki during these 5 days and when they re-X-rayed the foot 5 days later they did not have to plaster cast it, they gave him an air cast which he was told he would have to wear for 4 weeks.He was able to take it off in 3 weeks since his X-ray was so good. Just one example of how early Reiki treatments can cut the healing time up to 50%.

Taylor is a 5 year old beautiful little girl with a smile as wide as an ocean and is a delight. She is also in a wheelchair and had been diagnose with mitochondrial disease 6 mos after she was born.When I started workin with her 10 months ago she was like a Ragdoll with very little muscle tone.When lifting her one would have to support her head as you would an infant whose neck muscles were not strong enough to hold their head up erect. She requires nursing care, which I am able to provide, and she also has receive lots of Reiki since I started caring for her.10 months later she is able to hold her head up and her motor skills get stronger all the time. She is able to sit up by herself for short periods and was not able to do this 10 month ago. She is also making good attempts at verbalizing.Her disease has no known cure ,but, Reiki has been known to help in chronic diseases where traditional
medicine has not been very helpful.

Katelyn is another little girl with a metabolic disease known as Glutaric Acidemia she is 6 years old now ,but, 1 1/2 years ago when I first started taking care of he she was 5 years old, she weighed 22 pounds and had terrible tremors and spasms that masked a seizure disorder which I observed at my first visit. Her Mom who was open to alternative medicine welcomed the Reiki treatments. A year and a half later due to good medical and nursing care combined with the Reiki treatments Katelyn now weighs in at 50 lbs has little to no spasms or seizures and has gone also from ragdoll type muscle tone to increased tone and is growing more and more each day. The benefits of Reiki are boundless!

Dan is a 40 ish man with Lou Gherig's disease also known as ALS.Now thse of you who are aware of the debilitating effects of ALS know that is a devastating disease for the individual afflicted by it as well as their family and caretakers.Although the physical body becomes paralyzed and the breathing becomes dependent on mechanical means the brain and the level of conciousness is normal which is so frustrating for the ALS patient
as well as the caretakers/family since the individual cannot communicate their needs and becomes increasingly despondent,depressed and withdrawn. This increases the stress and frustration of the family.Dan has been receiving Reiki for 7 months now and his family reports how calm he is after receiving Reiki and he has been able to get some movement back in his toes.We are pulling for a miracle here for Danny ,but, in the meantime the emotional problems that are classic in ALS have been markedly decreased in Danny's situation which helps him as well as his family as they continue to care for him.

H`elene called me for a Reiki treatment when a 12 inch long open
wound in her leg was not healing well despite the valiant efforts of the
VNA. She had developed an infection in her leg after surgery and it just
ate away at her tissues. The first time I saw her leg, her tendons and
bone were exposed and she needed a miracle to help heal the wound. She had
already been 2 months with the leg wound open and although about an inch
of the tissue at the top of the wound had healed, she had 12 more inches
to go.
After her first Reiki treatment she felt more relaxed and able to handle
the stress of the being confined to her bedroom since she could not move
around well due to the pain in her leg.We continued with Reiki treatments
twice a week for a total of 1.5 hrs and after only 2 weeks the nurses and
doctors were amazed to see her leg wound healing better than it had been.
She was scheduled for surgery a month after the start of her Reiki treat-
ment and we continued Reiki up to the surgery. She had visited her doctor
pre-operatively and the plan was that she was to have a new tendon placed
in her( r) leg and a bone graft from the left leg to the unhealthy right
leg. Well, when she went for surgery the doctor told her that the "God's
must have been with her" because when they opened up her leg the tissues
had grown so healthy and the bone was in such good shape ( despite a strong
leg infection she had been battling) that they decided to forego the tendon
implant and the bone graft was not necessary afterall! She was sent home on
antibiotics and a drainage pump. We continued her Reiki treatments weekly
for another 4 sessions and then every other week. Three months after my
first visit with H`elene she is infection free her leg is almost completely
healed only an inch to go, she is walking on her leg with a crutch and is
happily planning her summer wedding! She got engaged New Years eve and
was so concerned she would not be able to walk down the aisle. But Miracles
do happen and She will look beautiful in her Wedding gown as she walks down
the aisle on her son's arm.
Not only did the Reiki help heal her leg faster and more completely it
kept her balanced emotionally to be able to handle her long ordeal of hav-
ing been so confined during the course of her healing. This was accom-
plished gently and profoundly with non- invasive non-drug Reiki. Healing
with energy from the Universe!

Amy called me when she had heard about the calming and healing effects
of Reiki preoperativly. She had been scheduled to have her second ovary out
and a possble hysterectomy at the age of 40.She has no children so this was
very difficult for her despite the support and love of her friends. So the
day before surgery I went to her home and gave her a calming, beautiful
Reiki treament. As I was passing the Reiki energy to her I noticed that her
neck area was pulling a lot of energy and the area of her expected surgery
was not pulling that much energy. When I asked her how big the tumor on her
ovary was she said that it was not that big. Still even a small tumor would
probably pull more energy than she seemed to be pulling. I left Amy to bask
in the beauty of her Reiki energy and she called me a few days later all
excited that the "tumor" turned out only to be a small cyst and no further
surgery was required. She can still get pregnant if she chooses to and isnt
it nice that she gets to do the choosing. By the way she told me that she
had been in a car accident a week before and had sustained whiplash and that
was what I picked up on during our Reiki session. She is doing much better.
All's well that ends well.

Larina a woman with Multiple Sclerosis called me for a Reiki treat-
ment. She had never received Reiki before and after her first Reiki treat-
ment she was able to sleep better, was less stiff, and said that emotion-
ally she felt better since she has suffered from depression due to her
chronic illness. I had studied that Reiki did help with depression. I will
hear from Larina for a treatment mostly when it rains and otherwise she does
well. Stress and Anxiety can cause and exacerbate so many physical ailments,
but, as one receives a Reiki treatment and as the Reiki energy aligns the
spirit with the physical body,people find their stress,anxiety and physical
symptoms start to abate or disappear altogether. Reiki is Universal energy
and you cannot go wrong when you trust the Universe to work for you,for that
is the job of the Universe ... to work for your highest good!
