| Hello to those who dwell in the trenches of filth we refer to as America. The name of this band is Revile. We are an industrial metal band based in St. Louis, Missouri. Our influences include Static-X, Dope, Black Sabbath, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, Type O Negative, Ministry, Coal Chamber, and others. Revile is: Katherine-vocals/guitars We want to make people realize that there is more to life than sports, beer, getting laid, and proving yourself, for we have nothing to prove but our own insecurities. The only games we play is self-denial and lies. The only alcohol we drink is our pride. The only sexual partner we have is our own obsessions, always swooping in to catch the latest details on who goes to jail, who sleeps with who, who kills who, and who to blame. Today, few are more than mindless narccissists. We look to show everyone that they are wrong. We look to destroy them all with our music, spreading the message of intelligence to the world, all starting in a town called St. Louis. When the phonies have nothing left to pretend, the will disintegrate. Stop pretending and get real. We wish to bring a new world order in which people are people, not mindless machines. Not simply the sum of their friends. Not just fools that can defend themselves with the word "faggot" when they realize they are wrong. Let's see if we can stop all this stupidity and GET REAL. I have a message to all the phonies out there, in our schools, in our churches, in our governments, and the vultures in our media: ANNIHILATE YOURSELF. START ANEW. FIND YOUR TRUE BEING. STOP PRETENDING. Only the real ever trully survive. And I'll say this one more time: get real. |
