| SummerSlam 2000: Rizos View:WOW!What a PPV,in light of King of the Ring and Fully Loaded, SummerSlam really surprised me in its quality!!!!read on to find out why! Bump of the evening:It wouldve have changed if the table hadnt given way under HHH and Angle,A Pedigree by a face(bad guy)on another face wouldve been good but sadly it wasnt to be,so bump of the evening goes to Shane McMahon freefalling 60-70ft through that stage area off the railings! Wrestler of the Evening:HHH or Shane McMahon,HHH edges it. Riz Rating system: 5Stars***** means a really great match. 4Stars**** means the stars did a good job. 3stars*** means this match was worth watching. 2Stars** means Pointless,crappy match. 1Star* means that basically i was thinking of watching WcW(god help me!). Too Cool and Rikishi V Right to Censor:** Riksihi came down accompained by 2hoes,1 which was driven through a table by the Goodfather on Raw,a while ago.A crap match,RTC showed right off the bat that they are the ones that need to be Censored,well they`re matches anyway!Too Cool held the advantage until Scotty attemted the Worm!and was Superkicked!by Steven for the pinfall! winners:Right to Censor! This match couldve been more interesting if Rikishi decked Too Cool for losing and turned heel as he doesnt get much of a pop (crowd reaction)nowdays. Roaddogg V X-Pac:*** A handshake started off this match with both trying wrestling holds trying to outsmart the other,X-Pac stopped this pretty dull match when Roaddogg went for a PumpHandle Slam,X-Pac kicked up his leg lowblowing RoadDogg and delivering the X-Factor! winner:X-Pac! This match was watchable,but afterwards X-Pac extended his hand,Roaddogg took and kicked X-Pac before delivering the PumpHandle Slam!and theres me thinking Mr Ass would come down and reunite DX! Intergender Tag Team Match:Intercontinental Championship on the line! IC Champ/Val Venis & Trish Stratus V Eddy Guerrero & Chyna:*** This match was alright with mainly Val havig his ass kicked and then him and Guerrero both down and going to their corner,trish tags in and boots Eddy twice before he sweeps her legs from beneath her and Chyna tags in gives Trish a bodyslam and a Gorill Press Slam for the cover! winners:Chyna and Eddy Guerrero! NEW Intercontinental Champion in Chyna!But Eddy was hurt inside i could tell! Tazz V King Lawler:*** Tazz came down with a blind stick and shades on saying"I cant see you JR!",King (again)has had enough so the match begins,with pretty much punches all the way and a few slams and suplexs thrown in,hey King even got a dropkick in!Then tazz locked on Tazz-mission while the ref was down and JR hit Tazz over the head with a sweet Jar cutting Tazzs head and getting glass in Tazzs eye!Lawler then scored the pinfall! winner:King Lawler! A watchable match but i thought Raven or Steven Regal was going to interferre! Hardcore Championship Match:Hardcore Champ/ShaneOMac V Steve Blackman:**** Shane and Blackman provided us with the first real entertainment of the evening! The usual array of Tray,Bin,kendo shots and out of ring brawling,Blackman had the upperhand over Shane and T&A made their presence known Test delivering his patent elbow and Albet the Choke Bomb!before down near the screen blackman fought back and Shane climbed the railings up to70ft before Blackman caught him whacked him a few times with the Kendo!Timber!Shane freefell 60-70ft down to some ropes,wood boards below!and Blackman climbed to about 40-50ft and elbow dropped Shane and pinned him! winner and new Hardcore Champion:Steve Blackman! But Shane doesnt go away empty handed he gets the BUMP OF THE NIGHT award!!!!clap clap! 2out of 3 Falls:Chris Benoit V Chris Jericho:**** A good match meant to elevate both superstars to the Undertakers,HHH,etc.s level and i think it has worked!for Benoit!Jerricho now cant really challenge for the WWF Championship while Benoit can as he was the Victor in this! winner:Benoit! with 2falls to Jerichos1 TLC:Tag Team Championship:Tag Champs/Edge & Christian V Dudley Boyz V Hardy Boyz:***** A great match,very painful some great bumps taken,Jeff missing the Swanton and doing his leapfrog over the ladder trick,Buh Buh crashing through 3(meant to be 4)tables on the outside,but in the end both D-Von and Jeff were hanging by the rope and Dvon fell while Edge and Christian pulled the ladder away and whacked jeff with it then they climbed to regain the gold! winners and still tag champs:Edge and Christian! Kane V Undertaker:*** Not even a match,just a fight with Undertaker really destroying Kane(sporting a new look)and ripping his mask away but Kane hid his face! winner:(not a match)but Undertakers music was played! Stinkface Thong match:The Kat(blonde today)w/Al Snow V Terri w/Perry Saturn** Pointless match but you have to keep the fans happy,The Kat picked up the victory! winner:The Kat! WWF World Championship Match:Triple Threat:Champ/Rock V HHH V Kurt Angle**** First off i must let you know that i dont rate was Rock as a wrestler,i think he is absolute crap and a undeserving champion but hey there are millions...and millions of people who would disagree right?Its just my view! Ok straight off Angle proclaimed he gave Steph more passion than HHH could ever give her this brought HHH to the ring they fought and HHH was gonna give Angle a pedigree! through a table but it gave way!and this sent Angle to the back on a stretcher while Rock and HHH fought,it was pretty even with Steph even hitting HHH with the belt when Rock moved!(didnt see that coming!) |
