My Boy Scout troop, troop 586, gets together every Monday night at the United Methodist Church in Torrance, CA. Every once in a while we have campouts on the weekends. For Example: we are going to make rockets and launch them in January, Friday the 13th. At the campouts we do service projects and get merit badges. Sometimes we can get things signed off on our ranks. In order from first to last the ranks are scout, tenderfoot, second class, first class, star, life, eagle, and eagle palm. Some of the merit badges are required to get the eagle rank. Currently I'm a first class scout.
