I am looking for my sister, Jean (Pittman) Seid, born 4-1-62 in NY, NJ or CA to Ann and James Pittman. She would be in her late 30s now.
She was placed in foster care through JCCA in NY in her infancy, and taken in by the Seid family who resided, I believe, NJ. Her foster father's name was Harvey, I think. She was adopted by the Seids at age 9.
My sister Nancy and I were told that we would be allowed our first and last visit with her before her adoption, but not after, and only if both of us agreed. Nancy felt that would be too hard emotionally and so she wouldn't agree to it. But we have always thought about Jean over the years and have tried to find her.
Nancy and I would love to be reuinted with Jean so that we can finally get together and catch up on our lost years as sisters.
