| 354th SECURITY POLICE SQUADRON K-9 UNIT KUNSAN KOREA |
 |
| K-9 Units in South Korea |
| BACKGROUND |
| My name is Richard Warr. I served with the 354th Security Police Squadron K-9 unit in Kunsan Korea, from May 1969 to June 1970. I am looking for fellow "Dog Men" who served in K-9 Units in South Korea. I would like to put together enough material for a book on those who served during this time. You could be Air Force, like me, or Army, it doesn't matter. What does matter is getting the story out of those who "walked a dog" in a country other than Viet-Nam. I am positive there are many of you out there who have all kinds of stories you can share, funny, sad, nostalgic, etc. I would like to hear from you and to let you know that few if any know of the travails of a Sentry Dog Handler working in South Korea.
Whether you share an antedote or not, please sign my visitors book below to let me know you dropped in for a visit. For those of you who spent your tour working with dog's like I did, let me hear from you. I have searched the websites and I can find little if anything on Dog Handlers in South Korea. I want the stories to get out to the public and to let everyone know "the rest of the story."
