"Your grandpa and I only ever loved one person, and that was each other. That's how it should be, Shauna. Your grandpa passed away twenty years ago, and I never even thought of loving anyone else. No one else has my heart, and he holds it close to him up in heaven. Look up at the sky and pick out the brightest star in the sky. If you look close enough you can see your grandpa. He sits up there and watches over all of his grandbabies, even the ones he never met--like you. And he loves you for who you are. Don't be sad when I die, Shauna, because I will finally be with the one person who loved me more than anything, and the one person that I loved more than anyone. I will finally be truly happy when I can join your grandpa again."
