The first game of the season was played on Sunday, June 20. It was the Sharks vs the 49ers. The inter league game resulted in a 3-1 win over the 49ers. The Sharks played a great game, only giving up 1 run the whole game. The Sharks pitcher Pedro Martinez got the win and the closer Eric Gange Got the save. The 49ers starter Jamie Moyer got the Loss.

Pacific Grove VS Nashvile |
The Sharks lost today, Monday June 21. It was a close game at 3-4, but the Sounds came out victorious. The sounds were ahead early with homers by Bobby Abreu and Alex Rodriguez. It was 0-3 until the 6th and 7th inning were the Sharks came back and tied the game.Carlos Delgado had a 2 run jack which contributed to the tie. Then in the 8th inning Nick Johnson hit a double to drive in Bobby Abreu for the winning run. The Sounds starting pitcher, Tim Hudson, got the win and the closer, Kieth Foulke, got the save. The Sharks closer, Keith Foulke, got the loss.

After a great game Team Spencer came on top. For most of the game the Crocs were on top 2-3. The game was scoreless from the 2nd inning to the 8th inning. It was the top f the ninth and Team Spencer still didn't give up. The inning started with the top of the line-up and the first two guys got on base. The Canefires falls to defeat on, Monday June 21, as Holliday gives up 4 runs in the first inning to the Sounds. Not a good start for the Canefires, but the Sounds are now 3-0. In the first inning, the Sounds started off with two men on base. Then A-Rod blasts a three-run-jack. Two more doubles that inning score another run. Although Holliday Pitched a complete game for Mexico City, he still has a 2.25 ERA. In the third inning, 1 run was scored, and one more was scored in the seventh, as the Canefires lose to the Sounds, 4-2.
