10 FAB CONFIDENCE BOOSTING TIPS
1) SPEECH AND BREATHING
When you find yourself in a difficult situation slow down your speech - not too much though - and take long deep breaths. Try to keep eye contact with the person who you are talking to - if this is difficult at first try looking at the spot between their eyebrows. Make sure you take deep slow, regular breaths and you will send your brain the message that you're in control
2) POSTURE
Having bad posture is a sign of low self-esteem. Don't sit down as soon as someone starts to talk to you either as this sends out the same message. By hunching your shoulders you may feel less noticeable but it sends out the message that you are unhappy with yourself. Imagine a thread pulling your head upwards and another one pulling your head forwards.
3) AVOID COMPARISONS
Comparing yourself to other people is one of the worst things you can do. Everyone is unique and you shouldn't compare yourself to toher people's successes. If you do find yourself fixating on someone who appears happier and more successful than you just remember that they are only human, and so ahve their own problems and insecurities.
