| I Am... I am a little girl at heart. I wonder what the rest of the world is like. I hear all these new sounds. I see all these new sights. I want what I can never have. I am a little girl at heart. I pretend that I am a big girl, with more knowledge. I feel all alone inside. I touch the world around me. I worry what people will think. I cry myself to sleep. I am a little girl at heart. I understand that I am young and inexperienced. I say my prayers at night. I dream of a far away place. I try to do my best. I hope that you still love me. I am a little girl at heart. This poem I had to write for english class. The teacher gave us the first 2 words of each line, and everytime it said "I am" it had to be the same. |
