Here is some care info about some tarantulas I,I am getting and some of the more common species.

Aphonopelma anax- Texas Tan
Found in North and Central America, keep drier with an average of 80 degrees with 60-75% of Humidity.Kept mine at that she did really good. They should do well in 5-10 gallon tanks.Feed them mostly crickets with an exception of pinkies. They can get to be 6'' but most I have seen for sale are around 4-5''.

Aphonopelma Chalcodes-Texas Blond
Found in North and Central America
Should be kept the same as the Texas Tan.

Aphonopelma hentzi-Texas Brown
These too can be kept the same, all of the above species are I believe burrowers.Mist them about 2 times a week.
All three of the species above are pretty hardy and can be held, but there are some of the individuals that dont believe in handleing and will go against it.

Aphonopelma seemanni-Costa Rican Zebra, Stripe Knee tarant.
Found in Central America, keep at around 80 degrees with 75-80% humidity. They are smaller tarantulas usualy atain a legsapn of 5.5''.Keep them on an insect based diet and a special treat every once in a while if you want a pinkie(1-2day old). They can be kept in smaller tanks, 5 gallon tank would be good. These are a little too nervous to handle found out the har way a while back with a sub adult male.

Brachypelma albopilosum-Curly Hair
Found in Central America, same as above 75-80% humid and around 80.These can get pretty big pretty fast!Usually adult female will get regularly 6'', and these can eat pinkies, but mainly adult crickets. These are one of the good begginner species and can be readily handled. As the name suggests the species has long curled hairs all over.
Brachypelma auratum-Mexican Flame Knee
These should be kept around 80% with 75-80% of humidity. These are found in Central America, but along with someothers is illegal to be taken out of the wild. The consiquence $1,000 of dollars or life in jail. These get to be 5.5-6''.Along with the Mexican Redknee and the Mexican Fireleg these are some of the slowest growers. As the name says these have long narrow red flames on there knes which gives them there name.

Brachypelma boehmei-Mexican Fireleg
These can be kept the same as the Flameknee, care etc.
These get to about the same size, these are currently being sold all over. There appearance gives them there name, they have Firey Legs up and down. They also look the same in comparison to the Mexican Bloodleg, another rarer species.
Brachypelma smithi-Mexican Redknee
Found in central America, these can be kept the same to the Fire leg and the Flame knee. This is a great begginner species, and cause of there beauty this makes them one of the best begginner species out there. These are currently being sold all over, and are verycommon in the pettrade now.

Brachyeplma vagans-Mexican Redrump
Found in Central America, his is a more aboreal species, they are terrestrial but produce alot of webbing. These can be kept the same but I would keep them at a higher humdity.Kept mine around 82%.

Megaphobema meosmelas-Costa Rican redleg
Found in Central America, this is a rare but beautiful species, I am going to be getting a pair pretty soon, but have heard that these need to be kept in a more moist environment.Get to be 6'', can eat pinkies. For a good pic go to the American Tarantula Society at. http://torgo.cnchost.com/ats

Avicularia avicularia-Common Pinktoe
Found in South America torwards Guyana, usually found in banana crops.Keep these in a higher Humidity 85%, at 80 degree's during the day and around 75 degree's at night. This is an aboreal species, so keep it in an aboreal environement. As the name describes it has pinktoes.

Grammostola rosea-Chilean Rose Hair
Found in South America around Chile, this is also one of the best begginner and commonly sold species.Keep these are hardy do fine at room temperature.Feed these an insect based diet. There are different color morphs to this species, there is the Fire Morph, the Rose hair morph, few others? You will usually find the Rose Hair Morph, this the common morph found in petstores, and very rarely will you come across a Fire morph.

Xenesthis immanis-Columbian Lesser Black
Very Beautiful species, but very rare.As the name says these are found in Columbia.Found out a little time ago that the Columbian Lesser Black is a smaller version of the Columbian Giant Black."Lesser" means smaller, this is a very rare species and the last time these where captive bred was in 92', hopefully when Todd Gearhearts male molts we can all change that. This species is a darker color but on the ceph have a bright pink starburst, very beautiful and recommend it to the serous hobbyist.

Therphosa Blondi-Goliath Birdeater
Largest tarantula in the world attaining 8-12 inches, as the largest in the world these can eat adult mice. And since there size, there urticatibg hairs are one of the worst! Can last sometimes for a week of terrible ich!Keep these in a wetter environment, needing water everyday.Recommend if you have this species to have latex gloves, when performing the water dish thing.Found in the Northern part of South Amrica.

Thats it for right now, Ill finish this some other time.
