A new expansion team was created by the GM Kaitlyn Sanders, the team was made from the idea of the former Team Tuna that won the St. Andrew's Tournament in the last floor hockey intramurals held at lunch. The two main stars were lost when they moved from St. Andrew's to E.W. Pratt, Chris Noskiye and Jarrod Gauchier. But early in the season the team picked up one of the leagues brightest stars, the veteran goaltender Teddy Peterson. |

Opening Game: Hazard(1) Vs Moses & The Disciples(1) |
In the opening game of the tournament round robin the team was set to face the new and improved Team Hazard, this team was created from the former G-Unit with its main stars Jordan Halcrow and Floyd Mc Dermott. Mc Dermott started in net for Hazard and it was a showdown with Peterson. In a action-packed game there were several shots fired and the crowd was shocked when Colette Larose managed to slip the puck past McDermott about 5 minutes into the game. The pass came from Monique Maure when she picked it up from Kaitlyn Sanders and when Floyd went down the puck was slipped by him. During the game Sanders almost put it away on a shot on the breakaway but McDermott was able to make a fantastic save off the butt-end of his stick. McDermott had underestimated the "Girls" team because by the end of the game he faced at least 20 tough shots. At the other end of the gym the goaltender Teddy Peterson was faced with several tough shots from the forwards Jordan Halcrow and the newly aquired Scott Lochhead, Lochhead was the top point-getter of the Jesse Perry Experience Featuring Teddy from the last tournament. At the half mark of the game Halcrow passed the puck across the crease to Lochhead and before Peterson could get to it it was put top shelf and the score was tied. With about 15 shots on net Peterson closed the door on a tough shot from Halcrow near the end to keep the score tied, with a quick glove and great mindset Peterson kept the game at a steady 1-1 and that remained the final score. After the game the Chairman of the tournament Brent Gammie had this to say about the underdog Team Moses & The Disciples, "You Guys Played A Good Game And If You Keep It Up You Might Win This Thing". Keep updated for the next Saint Andrew's Floor Hockey League action. |

Next Game: Moses & The Disciples Vs Thunder |
In the next game Moses & The Disciples will be facing the toughest team in the league, the Thunder, the GM of this powerful team, Kody Cardinal has put together a strong team this tournament with several hockey players and the Chairman of the tournament Brent Gammie. Some of the players include Beth Peterson of the Tolko Timberwolves Midget girls hockey team and Nathan Roy from the Midget "C" boys team. With the leagues leading goal scorer Brendan Laboucan the Thunder are a favorite to win. In the Thunder's last meeting they won 4-1 against The Princesses with Rene Dufour-Contreras coming up short of a big game letting in 4 of the many shots he faced. Nathan Roy kept his GAA at a 1 with his performance when The Princesses' only girl Davin Campbell managed to solve him with their only goal of the game. The next game will for sure be a good one, keep updated for the results. |

Our Past: Before Moses & The Disciples |
In the past there have been strong teams that have scored more than their far share of goals on the opposition but in the last tournament no team could stand up to the force of Team Tuna. Team Tuna took the tournament after beating out The Jesse Perry Experience Featuring Teddy in the third game of the Best-of-3 series that was held. The team finished with an appealing 4W-1L-0T. With the tournament win on their record the team has a reputation to uphold as it returns for a second term. With many of the stars appearing from Team Tuna back on the team added to the new faces the team can expect to do quite well in this tournament. With the loss of their two best players Chris Noskiye and Jarrod Gauchier the team suffered a big defecit but they were helped out when a veteran goaltender decided to side with them. Teddy Peterson has had a strong record in the past with his former teams such as: Team Curve: 3W-0L-0T, The Jesse Perry Experience Featuring Teddy: 2W-2L-1T , and he is looking strong for this tournament. Many of the payers have been underestimated and it is now their time to redeem themselves and to rise up and capture the tournament for the second in a row. Some of the strongest players to watch out for in this tournament include Colette Larose, Jolene Beaudrey, and Kaitlyn Sanders. |
