The Eccentric
YOU ARE NOW IN THE REPOSITORY OF THE ECCENTRIC, a poet and novelist who writes literature, not commericalized crap...Interested?
If you love to write for the sheer joy of it and don't give a damn about what others may say, because you believe in yourself, then all I can say is, "Welcome, brothers and sisters!"
So, if that makes me eccentric, so be it. I'm all of that and a whole lot more. If you are likewise inclinded, then we already have something in common. So, come on in and take a tour of the place. I think you'll like it!
"Joy is but the sign that creative emotion is fulfilling its purpose." -Charles Du Bos, What Is Literature? |

The following is intended to make a point and maybe even provide a little inspiration.
There's many a bestseller that could have been prevented by a good teacher.
-- Flannery O'Connor
There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written or
badly written.
-- Oscar Wilde
Literature is strewn with the wreckage of those who have minded beyond reason
the opinion of others.
-- Virginia Woolf
Wisdom
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of
intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden path, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Twenty years fron now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain
"We act as though comfort and luxury were the
chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." Albert Einstein
"To find yourself, think for yourself." Socrates
"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, magic and power in it. Begin it now." Goethe
