Bridge

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The bridge is the command center of Voyager, where the senior officers spend most of their duty time.
the followings stations can be found on the bridge: Flight Control (helm), Operations, Security/Tactical, Engineering Science, and Mission Operations (n).

This is where most of the functions regarding ship operations are controled from.

The helm at the front of the bridge controls direction and speed. Information can be put in by computer or manually by Lt. Tom Paris.
Ops is manned by Ensign Harry Kim and controls most of the ships sensors and and scanning capabilites, other things like library computer access and environmental control can also be controlled from here.
At tactical Lieutenant Commander Tuvok controls the defensive capabilites, including phasers and torpedoes. He also has access to the sensor array and transporter functions. Targets can be acquired manually or automatically.
To the far right of the bridge and at the back h there are engineering panels. The one in the front is occasionally manned by Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres but is normally left unmanned or manned by an Ensign.
At the back of the bridge there are also two panels for Mission Operations.
Lastly, the center of the Bridge, the command seats

Main Viewer
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main viewer is the most important computer screen on the bridge. It can display virtual images as well as views from outside (front view, aft view).

Captain's Ready Room
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here (a) the Captain Janeway can meet with officers, privately send or receive messages or work at her desk. this is also the place she goes to when she wants to relax but stay near the bridge, in case there's an emergency. The ready room also features a replicator.
From her room the Captain can also access Deck 2
Footnote: Seska died here. (Basics, Part Two)

Briefing Room, Conference Lounge
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Briefing Room is located just aft and port of the bridge, and is accessed via the doorway just forward of the Operations Station. Here the senior officers meet to make decisions or update themselves on the current mission

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Following an old tradition, Voyager also has a dedication plaque, It is fixed to the right wall in the short corridor between the Conference Lounge and the Bridge (when coming from the bridge).

"For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be."
This dedication is taken from Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem Locksley Hall.
