Ash had cheered up a bit by the end of the day and had even smiled a few times. Scott started talking about the latest South Park volume and Vicki squeled, "Starvin` Marvin!!!!" and Ash said,
"I've got that one on video, it rOx!"
"You do? I have Elephant makes love to a pig!" Vicki said grinning. Ash grinned back and had an idea, "Hey, I haven't seen that one. Maybe after school we can can go to your house and watch it or something?"
Vicki looked really surprised and said, "Sure!"
"Where do you live?" Ash asked.
Vicki gave me a happy look and said, "Enfield Chase Estate...." but was interuppted by Ash screeching in her usual fashion, "No way!!!!! Me too! Cool! So it's a date?" she said and started giggling.
"What are you on?" said Vicki who looked very happy and surprised at Ash's sudden change of heart.
The bell went and Ash linked arms with Vix and they they started walking to their lockers. Their laughter echoed around the corridors....

I watched Vicki rummage in her already pigstyish locker and smiled. 2 hours ago I hated this girl's guts.....and now we're practically sisters! Before I had thought she was an evil, green-eyed b***h who had come to ruin my life and take my friends away from me.....now I saw she was really cool and we had a lot in common! Scott headed round the corner towards our lockers. He went up to Vix and said something then gave her a puppy eyed look and went over to the door. "Bye Ash, Bye Vix! I'll call ya!" he said and then he was gone. We used to walk home together everyday...well, maybe it was time to grow up....we had been inseprable since birth.....maybe it was time to realise we couldn't be together forever....I wiped a tear from my eye and looked up. There was Vix looking at me looking very worried......
